| dc.description.abstract | La raza guzerat se ha destacado en la historia de la ganadería por su rusticidad y longevidad y con sus aportes en rendimiento de producción de leche se ha ganado un lugar dentro de las razas más apetecidas para establecer este tipo de producción. Hablamos de producciones de hasta 22 litros de leche/día en condiciones climáticas deplorables y poca disponibilidad alimenticia y de agua. Lo cual nos lleva hablar de la importancia de la selección en estas explotaciones como lo es el caso de la hacienda teotonio que realiza periódicamente un juzgamiento con un profesional a cargo, el cual busca realizar una selección fenotípica de acuerdo a las características lineales del animal que determinan si son aptas o no para continuar en el rebaño y cómo corregir errores en el caso de que se presente alguna situación que requiera solucionarse. | en_US |
