dc.description.abstractLa gestión de los costos en obras civiles corresponde a los procesos y procedimientos necesarios para la estimación de costos, presupuesto y control; esto se logra a través del uso de herramientas y técnicas que permiten proyectar una buena línea base de la obra civil para el posterior control en su ejecución. Este libro permite abordar, de manera simplificada, los conocimientos necesarios para el desarrollo de buenas prácticas en gestión de los costos en obras civiles; analiza las estimaciones de costos de manera determinística y probabilística, con un enfoque importante para el desarrollo de un presupuesto de obra. Además, aborda el control de los costos, como insumo importante para medir el rendimiento del presupuesto. Dirigido a estudiantes de pregrado que requieren adquirir conocimientos, en su proceso de formación, sobre estimación de costos, presupuesto y control en obras civiles, como es el caso de programas de Ingeniería Civil, Arquitectura y afines.en_US

dc.description.abstractenglishCost management in civil works corresponds to the processes and procedures necessary for cost estimation, budgeting and control; this is achieved through the use of tools and techniques that allow projecting a good baseline of the civil work for the subsequent control in its execution. This book allows addressing, in a simplified manner, the necessary knowledge for the development of good practices in cost management in civil works; it analyzes cost estimates in a deterministic and probabilistic manner, with an important approach for the development of a construction budget. In addition, it addresses cost control as an important input to measure budget performance. Aimed at undergraduate students who need to acquire knowledge, in their training process, on cost estimation, budgeting and control in civil works, as is the case of Civil Engineering, Architecture and related programs.en_US
