dc.description.abstractEn el presente texto se analizaron los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas en el Municipio de Ocaña, Norte de Santander, respecto de la concepción ciudadana sobre temas como la democracia y la confianza institucional. La metodología tuvo un enfoque mixto, cuantitativo y cualitativo. Analizamos la información con base en datos numéricos que arrojaron las respuestas de la comunidad en la encuesta denominada Barómetro de las américas (compuesta por un total de 312 preguntas), aplicada en los años 2019 y 2021. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian los cambios sobre la percepción local respecto a la democracia y la confianza institucional durante los años mencionados. Dicha percepción fue obtenida a través de las preguntas realizadas en la encuesta, de las cuales analizamos las repuestas otorgadas únicamente a 30 preguntas sobre el tema en estudio. Las conclusiones finales aportaran, para futuras investigaciones, información relacionada con la credibilidad y confianza que la ciudadanía tiene sobre la institucionalidad, haciendo un análisis comparativo sobre los anos en los cuales se ha aplicado el mencionado instrumento en el municipio de Ocaña.en_US

dc.description.abstractenglishIn this text, the results of the research carried out in the Municipality of Ocaña, Norte de Santander, were analyzed regarding the citizen conception of topics such as democracy and institutional trust. The methodology had a mixed, quantitative and qualitative approach. We analyzed the information based on numerical data provided by the community's responses in the survey called Barometer of the Americas (composed of a total of 312 questions), applied in the years 2019 and 2021. The results obtained show the changes in local perception regarding democracy and institutional trust during the aforementioned years. This perception was obtained through the questions asked in the survey, of which we analyzed the answers given to only 30 questions on the topic under study. The final conclusions will provide, for future research, information related to the credibility and trust that citizens have in the institutions, making a comparative analysis of the years in which the aforementioned instrument has been applied in the municipality of Ocaña.en_US
